About the Business
I established the business in 2005, working by myself, but within 7 months had to take a person on to keep up with demand. I am pleased to say that progress has been steady and we have been able to take on larger projects as time has passed and the team has grown in size and ability. 2009 was a watershed year when we successfully started working with 2 large letting agent clients and achieved a number of accreditations including Dulux Select Decorator, Trading Standards Buy With Confidence and Investors in People, in recognition of our commitment to training and development. These achievements were sealed when Daniel won Apprentice of the Year for the South East of England and the business won the national award for Employer of the Year (in the microbiz sector).
At the suggestion of a customer, the name Rainbow Painters arose from the logo and we decided to use the name for the Website. A bit snappier than Russell Marlow Painting and Decorating, but it is one and the same entity.
