About the Business
I started painting and decorating as soon as I left school at the age of 17. I was trained by a local company in Teynham Kent learning the basics of knotting and priming through to hanging luxurious wallpapers. It took 3 years to become a qualified painter and decorator. I then moved on to housing developments where I would be left to decorate houses on my own both interior and exterior.
In 2001, I left the company to start my own company. My client database rapidly expanded and at the company's peak I employed some 30 decorators working across domestic properties and new build for major housing developers. This continued to 2013 when I took the decision to downsize, return to my roots, and work alone for domestic clients.
