About the Business
I worked with some excellent decorators who taught me that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. I started my own business, Classic Decor, in 1985 and within a year I was fortunate enough to have more work than I could handle. I began employing decorators who had previously trained me, so I'm confident about the quality of the people who work for me. Between us, we have more than 120 years of decorating experience. The Painting & Decorating Association is the largest national organisation in the UK exclusively for the needs of professional painters and decorators.
As a member, we subscribe to and are bound by the terms of the PDA Code of Practice, which establishes standards for the conduct of, and the work undertaken by, members firms. The objective of the Code of Practice is to raise the status of painting and decorating contractors, and to improve their trade relationship with private, commercial and industrial clients.
